I look forward to receiving a box of rich flavorful Rancho Cielo avocados from my brother, Rancher Tom, for my birthday each year.
Upon delivery, I send a message to several friends that I have shared these
limited gems with over the years. Responses, “Yum, Yum, thank you!” I gifted a friend a Rancho Cielo avocado that was driving to a dinner gathering. She has been the recipient of Rancho Cielo avocados in the past. Response, “Awesome, avocado toast for breakfast.” Response from friend that was not a recipient this shipment, “What I didn’t make the list this year.” Rancho Cielo Avocados are a rarity, that you can’t buy at the grocery store or Costco. I find the Mexican avocados to be watery and not as rich in taste. Wish I saw Rancho Cielo Avocados or more California avocados in MN grocery stores.
